Brit Iron Rebels - Worldwide
Hello everyone!
As an active member of the Brit Iron Rebels, I have travelled all over the US as well as some parts of Europe to ride with my fellow members on British Iron. We've only recently been toying with the idea of kicking a ride down in South Africa to see your marvelous countryside, particularly the Southern and Western Cape.
As such, I have initiated several inquiries to tour and riding outfits in SA and am getting varied responses. Our desire is to get 40 riders from all over the world down to South Africa within the next two years for an all Brit Iron ride. This would require the rental of British motorcycles, preferably Bonnevilles and Scramblers.
We plan on taking 14 days total time, allowing for a day and a half to get there, 8 - 9 days of rides in the countryside, wine country, etc. and then several days of rest and relaxation (yeah right...) with some active braai's in the bush, or wherever it makes sense.
I am looking for your feedback, guidance, suggestions - pros and cons.
