I never thought I would ever be posting a message like this, but it has happened to me and my buddies.
One of our close friends, and a fellow I've know and ridden with for 15 years, was killed last Thursday when a woman in a mini van turned left into him on a city street. He was only 56.
Gary loved bikes; loved life and was a model citizen who raised three fine boys to also love motorcycles and riding.
Gary and Brenda would often show up for rides on his vintage Harley while the boys rode various Japanese bikes. They rode as a family.
This incident has shaken our 86 member bike club to the core. Things like this don't happen here; they always happen somewhere else.
But, unfortunately, they don't.
We're still in shock and disbelief.
