Hey guys,

Well im back from London, don't know if ya all got the report about the snow 4 weeks ago.....I landed on the Saturday and come Sunday night and Monday Thick snow. London and all around the country was at a stand still. It was AWESOME....we all turned into 10 year olds. I went up to Greenwich Park along with my Sister and Mum and was watching what I use to do.......sliding down the huge hills while wondering how the heck ya gonna stop. Did a fair bit of beering....well I lie.......did a lot of beering and eating. Blimey I feel like a bike tire or should I say I have grown a couple.

Went to Ace Cafe as well......Blinding place there. First time I have been and it was awesome. So much history to that place.

So got back last night, both my girls I really sick and I have a bit of sinus crud going on.

Hope ya all are well and happy.

Welcome back mate :y18:
I spent a week on London a few years ago and had an awesome time. So much to see and so much to do.
I didn't get to the Ace Cafe and that was my only regret.

Welcome back Steve. Many of us didn't realize London got that much snow. I have never been there, but thought it was mostly rain.

We get plenty of bloody rain mate....haahaha We hadn't had snow to where it shut down the place in years. If anybody gets the chance to go to London, go up in Tower bridge. i went this time and took Mum.....(yep i am a mums boy). All the years I have lived there and cycled over it to go to work and never went up in it. I also went in a church that is the oldest in the city. The original arch is still there from the first origanal church that dates back to like 600 and odd A.D. Then we went down to a Crypt and there we were on a Roman road....Fantastic. i love history.

Carl......No mate not on an antibiotic. The kids were sick before I got back, now my wife is sick and I started today. I like to try and let me body fight it as much as I can. Thank God its still on the cool side here. Coming from Real cold to 80 degrees would of been a nightmare....hahahaha

I want to try and get some of the ACE picks on here. Last Saturday there was a big Rally coming from there to a big bike show in town. My last weekend with family so couldn't make it. Nothing the first weeks I was there then it all kicks off when I get back....hahahaha.

Have a good one guys

P.S Carl....are you back in the saddle or still hopping?

Good to see you back and that you all had fun. Flying is they most common place to pick up a bug, hope ya'll feel better soon.

Glad you made it back safe and sound Steve, save the colds that is!
If you get homesick for snow, see the pic I just posted titled "Snow Place Like Home". We got buried Sunday and today.

Welcome bacak Steve :y18:

I trust it was great to get back "home" :y115:

What did the mates back in London think of you're becoming a Triumph rider?

I love London (with the exception that I have to really watch-out when crossing a street there)! Tower Bridge is awesome as is the Tower itself (the ravens have their wings clipped....lol). My Wife always drags me to an old herb shoppe on Drury Lane called Culpeppers. I like going to Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese Pub (down an alleyway off of Fleet Street).

Steve, I've been driving Mae Lyne's rig. Last Friday, I went from the the aircast to a splint; so I am now able to drive a cage. The doc wants me to use the splint for a week before I ride two wheels to give the muscles and tendons time to strengthen. So I have been walking and exercising the foot to build strength. I have an appointment tomorrow and I am hoping he will give me the OK for two wheels. If not, I want you to come over and exercise my Bonnie. It has not been ridden since the 9th of January.

I went too London once, horrible place where they all speak funny and try to rob us Hard working Northerners. Though I was impressed with that Electricity stuff for your lanterns and the Horseless Carriages.

Welcome back Steve hope you enjoyed the flat southern beer :y18:
