Dealer say to never switch off ignition switch
Manual says to shut it
Dealer said it will reboot everything
Any advice.

Sorry, not familiar with the Generation 3 keyless system. Think they should have just left well enough alone and gave it a keyed ignition.

I have a 2018 and If I do not turn the switch off the headlights stay on. I roll up, put the kickstand down, turn the switch and walk away. 15 months and 20,000 miles later it is no issue. I think the Dealer is incorrect.
