I rolled out a "Brand X" motorcycle today (non-Triumph) and went for a short ride.
It's sunny and fairly warm, and a chill is still in the air, but it was time to get the season going.
It has been quite chilly this spring, and I'm a week or more behind schedule, but I'm finally ready for the road.
The others will soon follow. Yeehaaawwwww!!! :Champ:

Well it's three weeks today that I will get to meet my Bonnie America !!
In celebration and so she doesn't feel left out I shall take a spin on my Guzzi Breva this afternoon and then give her an oil change.
Although weather is fine later in the days it has remained resolutely chilly with a very unseasonal -2 deg last night and hovering around zero most nights recently.

That's the way it has been here this spring and why I'm later than usual getting back on the road.

Well I did get out on the Guzzi and loved it,I am going to try and keep it and the America, one in Portugal( probably the Bonnie) as the riding season is longer and I am guessing the suspension will be more compliant and the Guzzi here in France.
On another note, only the Italians could make maintenance so complex, well not complex but odd,3 bolts to drop the oil! One at the front of the sump, one at the back and the filter comes out the bottom, still got the gearbox to do and the cardan drive box.
Still I enjoy the satisfaction of knowing a machine has fresh oil for the start of decent weather after not being run for a while. This old water pump based Guzzi motor started first time, put that down to being EFI and careful laying up before going away for winter.
