I’m Back On A Triumph

Yes it’s true I’m back on a triumph after just over 4 years !
I know I’ve only 3 months ago bought the Honda crosstourer , but umm just not getting on with it .
So I couldn’t believe my luck when exactly what I was looking for turned up in my local dealer,
A lovely low mileage 2019 tiger 800 xca with all the bells and whistles and in the Wright colour as well.
So today I’ve put down a deposit and done the deal just have to wait now till I can pick it up

Just goes to show you just cannot keep a good Triumph man away for long, that bike sure does look like it has it all and I am sure you will really enjoy that one. I also love that colour on a bike it always seems to just go with them.

Ye I love that colour as well it’s not red and it’s not orange , I’ve only ever seen it on Triumphs .

I must admit I’m 53 now but I’m very excited about this bike , I’ve not felt like this about a bike for a long time .
It’s brought back a bit of passion for riding which I’ve not had for quite a few years now, my bike riding had gone a bit stale.
And I think it was down to not really being in to the bikes I was riding , so this is a very nice feeling .

That's a beauty, Shane. Looks like it's got all the right stuff for a good tour, whether it's pavement or some mild off road.
It's still got the smooth triple. Not sure if I would like the newer 900/1200 Tigers with the 270 degree crankshafts.

Its going to be a very hard wait as it will be two weeks yesterday i have to wait for my new bike to be ready to pick up , my local dealer Shirlaws of Aberdeen are flat out busy at the minute .
It seems the new tiger sport 660 and trident 660 are flying out the doors and sales of the tiger 850 gt are buoyant as well , which means they are behind on the used bikes .
but im a grown man now and i can handle the wait .....
