Subtropical Debby passed through eastern Canada the past couple of days.
It passed to the northwest of where I am and only gave us a moderate amount of rain and only moderate winds. Nothing unusual for us but it will rain most of today.

Those more northwestern provinces, Ontario and Quebec, got stunning amounts of rain, which caused some flooding, but nothing like what happened in the southern coastal US states.
It's always so heartbreaking to see what those storms do to the lives of so many people.

And now I see another one is brewing and heading west to North America. Too early for predictions on where it will go yet.

We just got a moderate dousing of rain as well. Atlantic Canada is usually taking the brunt of these hurricanes and tropical storms when they reach our shores and borders. Like sikatri, I'd prefer if they stayed out to sea, also, but history has proved a few times that doesn't happen very often.
