Greetings.

I have been riding since 1975, 47 yrs now. Yeah that makes me feel old just writing it!

Started on my buddies 125 dirt bike at old age of 16.

I truly blame my father-in-law though. As he gave me, *my* very first bike. A Honda CX-500. He explained, was only because he needed a reason. Had to justify to his wife ... that he now NEEDED another. So might well be bigger bike too. He then got the first of several Honda GoldWings.

Still have that CX-500, still ride it occasionally too.

My 2nd bike was also "free". Helping elderly neighbor clear his garage.Told take all those boxes of parts, might be able sell them.

Was his late son's 1965 BSA 650 bolt-on hardtail bobber project.

Nothing labeled, no idea what bolt went to what! Almost 2yrs before got that one back on road.

Still have that bike too. Probably not running again. But hard tail & and old man's butt ... well ... ☹️.

After lost wife to cancer ... figured why not, what got lose ...

So purchased a 2001 Harley Davidson Softail Heritage Classic. That's what I ride most.

So why am I here? You see, all those years didn't make me ANY smarter.

I am new proud owner of complete 1995 Triumph Thunderbird 900 cc bike .... all stored ... yes here I go again... in pieces IN BOXES!

Probably more info than wanted. Sorry if too long-winded.

Welcome to TT from Eastern Canada as well.
Hopefully all the pieces are there. That's one of the great modern classics.
Thank you!

Hopefully.

Still sorting boxes.

Know one thing, all the "neatly labeled" bags of screws/bolts ... not only didn't survive the mice, but that mice urine is *EXTREMELY* corrosive!

So far *only* the fasteners box. We'll see.

:five: Welcome, from Northern California. Thunderbirds are good bikes, and 1995 was the first year for them in the US. When you get it sorted and running, I'm sure you're going to like it.
Thank you! Hope so, heard good things about them. Eventually, God willing, will see. A least won't be bored anytime soon.

Best wishes.

CX owners always welcome . Sold mine last year to a collector , a Harley dealer actually , big weight of my mind .
