Hi. My name is John and I live in the English Lake District.My first bike was a Honda CB175 on which I passed my bike test in the late 70's, At that time there were lots of British bikes on the road and I set my heart on a Norton roadster. As it turned out I bought an 850 Interstate from a dealer on hire purchase as I turned 18 for £680. My dad had to guarantee the hp and I'll never forget his horrified face when he saw the bike bouncing around the wooden showroom floor on tick-over. I had great fun on that bike but had to sell when I got married.After a long break from riding I bought a new Bonneville T100 and more recently a 1972 750 commando which I still have.
