Hi Everyone

Just posting a thread to introduce myself. I am Carl from Cambridgeshire. I have been riding various bikes for 20 years. I am a member of my local IAM group and a former Bloodbiker. Have just moved from a GS to a T120. Enjoying the T120 so far. Just can't get over the wonderful exhaust note. Hope to learn loads about the T120 here.

Thankyou. I just can't get over the sound of the bike. Sounds just like the Bonnies of old but without the oil leaks.
Was wrong with oil leaks?

# Smell nice on hot cylinders.

# Get you noticed. On a charity ride, a nice young man shouted at me (lots of madly revving bikes) my engine was smoking, pointing at the curling wisps. It was too loud to fully explain, I just shouted back my bike didn't have a radiator.

# Lubricates and cleans my chain. Never, ever, oil my chain.

# Entertain. Parked next to a Triumph Bobber the other week. Chatted to the rider as he wandered up. He noticed oil streaking down my primary cover. I explained 'why'. Then a modern-Harley rider rolled up. I wandered off for some lunch leaving the Bobber rider telling the Harley rider I had an oil leak, they both bent over peering at my bike's engine.

Fair point. You forgot no need for oil change as it is constantly be topped up :-)

Welcome from sunny North Texas. I bought my 2017 T-120 Black back in 2020. I wasn't riding my Rocket III like it should because I moved to the city and riding around town I wanted something light and nimble. The suspension wasn't all that great but loved the torque, handling, and sound of the aftermarket pipes on it. Fixed the suspension with reservoir rear shocks and progressive springs and preload adjuster caps in front. Now it's brilliant.
