hi ive just joined and looking forward to using the sight
i have just become the proud owner of a trophy 1200 ,my first triumph after wanting one for years !

I wrote the WIKI Trophy section so if you need any help with anything, just speak up.

Unfortunately, we Trophy owners are a rare breed today. The rest of the world doesn't know what a beast of a machine they truly are!!

I still say they were one of the prettiest machines Triumph ever built...and the TORQUE of that 4 cylinder is is E-P-I-C!

yep ! i agree the motor is awsome , i have owned a lot of vtwins over the last 5or6 years ,and the trophy 1200 is like two v twins stuck together .
very grunty mid range, super comfy and just a joy to ride.

Welcome to Triumph Talk from across the pond. Glad you joined us. I have never had the pleasure of riding the Trophy 1200. I have a '68 Trophy 650 - not the same beast by any means!

Glad you liked the avatar...it works well since you have a dark colored Trophy. Sorry it doesn't have a Scottish flag though.

Now if we can get DaveM to enlarge the avatar??? It seems to be a bug where some avatars don't appear full-sized.
