Hey yall. Just got a '20 Tiger 900 that came without luggage. I realize that the OEM stuff is pricey, but so is some of the aftermarket luggage options. Am I better off going with OEM or something like Hepco? Any suggestions for other brands are always welcome. I've just seen these Hepco racks be discussed on other forums for the Tiger specifically. Thanks for the insight, folks!

I can't actually speak directly to Hepco's suitability to the application you are considering, but after seeing the quality, and fit, of the Hepco engine guards for my 1995 Thunderbird 900, I think they make every effort to produce products that perform their function impeccably, though I could still be wrong, but I don't think so. And, I believe their satisfaction guarantee is completely honest.

I have no experience with Hepco but I am quite happy with the Triumph luggage that came with the used 2021 I purchased. It came with 2 bags the same size and 1 larger one. Any of the 3 will mount on either side or as a top box. I really like the ease of mounting or removing the bags- it's very easy. The bags can use the large clam shell opening or have the option of a fairly narrow top opening. Clever design. I have mostly used various iterations of BMW bags including the Varios on my GS. I think the Triumph bags compare favorably with any of them, although smaller than extended Varios.

Never had to crash test any of the plastic type bags. Did crash test some Jesse's off road several times. They did well, I don't think the plastic bags would do as good.
