Just got back from a charity run around the Lake district to raise money for our wounded servicemens charity, Help for Heroes.
I met up with Lake and my mate Ian, at Darryl's cafe for a 'full monty' fry up and a mug of tea.

Rode into Windermere to register for the ride, there was a good turn out, not sure how many, but I would guess about 500 bikes.
Riders registering.

Marshalling for the event was by the Goldwing owners of the 'Appy Wanderer's club', they did an excellent job. The traffic was stopped at every junction until all riders were through.

There was a good variety of rides on the field,

Great day out for a great cause. 155 mile round trip and it stayed fine most of the way, except the last 20 miles.
The old bonnie ran a treat!

Well done Gumpt, you should be in the Queens birthday Honours list, Gumpt MBE. Another good write up and excellent pictures.
