Welcome, what are you riding?

Thank you for asking, it gives me an opportunity to see if I can post a picture here. At the moment, I'm riding this:

A note of explanation. I'm a member over at the GL1800riders forum (Gold Wings). I go by the same handle there. My daughter owned a 2018 Triumph Street Scrambler for a couple years. She loved it, but unfortunately moved to a condo where there's just no place to keep a motorcycle. Add to that she was scared to ride it in the heavy downtown Atlanta traffic. So unfortunately it had to be sold. I brought it home, took off a couple aftermarket parts, and sold it to a great guy named Jamie. He loves it and has done several upgrades: it's serving him well. I certainly enjoyed riding it a few times: great machine. That said, I wanted to join this forum so that I would be able to sell a Triumph panier and it's support bracket that we removed from the Triumph. I'll be doing that shortly, but need to take some pictures and etc. first. So that's why I'm here: just trying to be honest. I have been checking out the forum some. Ya got some great info here.

She wishes she could have kept it. There's just no place to put it now that she lives in a crowded downtown area in her condo. It resided under a bike cover out in the weather for a month until I rescued it, cleaned it up and sold it for her.

She tired riding Dad's bike years ago when I had a GSX1100G Suzuki. Daughter was 5'2'' and 105 pounds. She could figure out the clutch and general riding skills, but that thing was just too much weight for her, and down it went when she tried to do a slow speed turn. The Triumph was a lot of bike for her too, but she managed. Alsways was a little scared of it though. Tall seat (for her) plus it's weight was just too much. Anyway, she's living in downtown inner city now, and just can't have a bike due to storage problems: just no place to put it.

It's a dilemma that so many younger people face these days. They love the minimalist lifestyle, but apartments and condos often have no place to park a bike except out on the street. And though it's possible, just about any bike would become a rusted mess soon enough due to the weather. Lotta money invested to take that chance.
