I am very pleased to have found this forum! Communicating and eventually meeting like-minded people from all walks of life who enjoy the thrill and adventure of two wheels and a throttle has been an ambition of mine for many years. I have owned bikes on and off for over 45 years but never had the time in my busy life to enjoy what riding really had to offer.

Time is now available and catching up on what I have missed has got my heart pumping. Outfitting my new bike over the next month will be exciting. I have joined "Horizon's Unlimited" and will be attending their annual get together in Nakusp, B.C. in August to meet new people and learn some new skills before I start planning some longer trips.

Cheers!

Welcome from the other side of the pond. To get your heart pumping even more take a world trip from the comfort of your own home. Just go to the Travel section on this forum, for some great photos of members here that have been all over the world.
Enjoy your bike and enjoy this forum, and don't forget your camera, as everyone will tell you here, "We love pictures "
WELCOME

Hello and WELCOMEto TT from the east coast BBEER
A couple of years ago I toured the Rocky Mountains of B.C. on a motorcycle and it was the time of my life!
I hope your weather has been better than ours. Cold and rainy here.

Peter welcome the forum from Florida. Congrats on the new Tiger 800XC. You have made a good choice for adventure riding. These are great bikes.
Thanks Carl. I am going to be looking for advice from the forum on a few items I am not familiar with. I'll save it for a rainy day though. Tofino is a village ensconced in one of Canada's 'temperate rainforests' on the Pacific coast. It is at the end of the road in western Canada so I have only one road out and I am certainly ready to take it for a month or two!!

Welcome from New Brunswick. Nice bike you have. Great choice to explore all those back roads out there.

Thank you. I am anxious to get in the saddle. I was born a "Bluenoser" and have every intention of visiting my roots as a priority. That includes New Brunswick. I would like to think that I could give you a shout when riding through. No specific plans yet but it is definitely planned for next summer.

Regards,

Peter B.
