Good day to you all,just joined your site with a view to try and fix my mates T300 750. The engine is in a couple of boxes, I just read an interesting thread on the alternator retaining bolt recall issues and indeed this engine has a snapped unmarked bolt in the shaft…so very pleased to see you peeps are right on it! I’ve managed to remove the half which had sheared off but there is more!

I’ve had plenty of experience with motorcycle engines but have never worked on a Triumph,I have ridden a Royal 1963 Enfield around India which was a new experience every day!!
