Hello From North Carolina!

Hi from Benson, NC! An old(er) biker but new to Triumph. I'll actually be buying either a new Speed Triple or Rocket 3 Roadster in October of this year, haven't decided which one just yet. I'm sure I'll be posting a few questions in the other forums, and picking the minds of the brightest bikers here!

Welcome from Alabama. Speed3 or Rocket3 well there is a HUGE difference in those choices Looks like you have your work cut out for ya.

Just a suggestion......you could split the difference between the 2 and get a 1050 Tiger

and picking the minds of the brightest bikers here!

Thanks for the welcome, guys! Now I gotta get down to business and try to sort out which bike I'll be buying. The "need for speed and corners" side of me wants the Speed Triple. The 46 year old "need for speed and comfort" side of me wants the Rocket 3 Roadster. Ah well...time to go consult the bright minds of TriumphTalk!

Welcome from a fellow north carolinian! You'll find a friendly, helpful bunch of folks on here. I'm a newbie here myself. Recently picked up a Tiger. Maybe Ill see you out on the road, you're not too far from me.

Jim, I'm an old guy and I settled on a Tiger 800XC. Best all around bike I have owned in 55 years of riding. I have lost my need for excessive speed.

Jim..I hope you don't think the Rocket 3 roadster is slow,,, I have a 2013 R3R and it handles like a dream..it did take a little getting used to the fat back tire in the turns.. but other then that,,, the look on a crouch riders face when he just can't walk off and leave me...priceless... enjoy my friend
