I'm Rob and new here. I've had many bikes over the years, but I finally got one I may hang on to for a while. I just bought a 96 Thunderbird with only 3500 miles. It has not run in 10 years.... It came with many extra parts (tank, fenders, pegs, bars, blinkers). The previous owner had set it up as a cafe racer style. I prefer a more upright riding position and plan on going back to a more stock setup. I need to get it running first. This is going to be a fun project!

Sounds like a great low milage T'bird you found.
Everything I have read about them is positive. Wish they still made them. I would love one of the older style "birds.

Thanks. I am an LSU fan. Sometimes more than others.... You are the second David from Brookhaven that I've met. Worked with David Hitchner, he grew up in Brookhaven. Good guy, we drank a lot of beer together.
