Hello! Been riding off and on for 50 years; just got my first Triumph! Though my wife’s been riding Triumphs for almost three years, I’m selling my BMW R1100S, 2004 and getting my first, a spiffing 2016 T120. I will be lurking the self service forums as I tend to be a do-it-yourselfer! So looking forward to working on a bike with no tupperware!

Welcome from chilly Eastern Canada.
Congrats on your first Triumph.
Not a lot of do it yourself stuff on here about the T 120 yet as they are still relatively new.
One thing comes to mind is to check the chain and make sure there is room for adjustment. Common problem is they come with too long of a drive chain and need a couple of links taken out right from the start.
Enjoy that new ride.

Thanks for the tip! It’s my first chain drive in a long time. Been riding beemers with no chains for years.

I'm near Bloomington, had a friend from Danville but she died in the early 90's. My dad is in the veterans cemetery there.
That aside Danville is the Eastern Gateway to leaving Illinois, so I like it!
:five:
