Handlebar risers

I'm looking at putting Gen Mar 1 1/4" hadlebar risers on my 2004 standard black Bonneville. I have read on RAT that adjustments will need to be made with the clutch and front brake cables. Anyone with info?

Ronnie, you may be able to reroute your cables to gain enough length for the risers. I know it can be done for i" inch risers. You have to take your cables loose from all the straps, see if the length is right, and re-strap them. Alternatively, you can purchase longer cables. If you replace the cables with longer ones, you will have to adjust your clutch and front brake.
