I'm on several other forums (because I own and ride 4 different Triumphs) but thought I ought to drop in here to get specific advice on my 2016 Thruxton R when needed. I picked up my R in Florida last April for a very good price and then found the reason for the fork seal leakage was the stanchions were pitted and rusted. It came with the Tamarit seat. I also tried to polish the spokes but the rust and pitting was too deep to clean up without destroying the spokes. Other than that the bike was still in good shape. So I fixed all that stuff by replacing the stanchions and installing stainless steel spokes, and then did some upgrades like new chain and sprockets, wave brake rotors in the front, new short bar levers, large mirrors, stainless steel chain guard, and new EBC sintered pads. Here's what it pretty much looks like now (and it's a hoot to ride): (Note: I changed the throttle body covers today so this pic isn't current)
