I test-drove a TBird 1600 ABS a few months ago and rode one home the same day. Was a little sad when I traded in my 2008 Honda Shadow 750 but that wore off by the time I got home (with a huge grin on my stupid face).

With my $1000 Triumph accessories credit, I added front and rear dresser bars, auxiliary fog lights, solo rack, paint protection kit and power outlet. After the first 500 miles, I had to add a Mustang seat; it was either that or get a bionic butt. And just before the weather turned foul, I added a Windvest deflector.

Now that winter is here, I get to customize all over again. I've got new pegs, grips, LED light strips and saddlebags all queued up in the garage and all I need is time.

Hi and welcome to TT and Triumph motorcycles from Pittsburgh.

By the way, LED light strips are illegal in PA while the bike is moving. It's OK to turn them on when parked however.

Thanks Seeker and appreciate the concern and warning about LED strips but the PA Vehicle Code allows LED strips without restriction of motion.

Pennsylvania Vehicle Code 4310 (http://www.legis.state.pa.us/WU01/LI/LI/CT/HTM/75/00.043.010.000..HTM)
4310. Motorcycle lighting.

Auxiliary lighting may be added to a motorcycle to protect the driver, including blue dot illumination, standard bulb running lights and light-emitting diode (LED) pods and strips.
(June 29, 2006, P.L.205, No.50, eff. 60 days)
2006 Amendment. Act 50 added section 4310.

Thanks for all the compliments on the bike. :y152:

I can't take credit for much more than having good taste, being in the right place at the right time and for not falling off on the test drive.
