My Ride
2020 Triumph Bobber Black
Riding Since
1977
I received my new BC Hogslayers last week and while I was in Kansas mY Madstad flyscreen showed up and today I had the opportunity to get them installed. Of the two the flyscreen took the longest. I replaced only the silencers on the exhaust which was pretty easy. The stock exhaust weighs a LOT when compared to the cans from British Customs. Next up my new levers have been shipped so I can adjust the lever to bar span. Took it out for a ride and the hogslayers are slightly louder than the OEM but much deeper. Acceleration was better too, so bonus. I'll be swapping out the chrome heat shields and likely wrap the exhaust headers, but that's a winter project.

Do they sound gif?
Rumor is Triumph is bringing the bike back next year.
Not sure what gif sounds like, but the BC's are a bit deeper and slightly louder. Give it a quick whack on the throttle and the bark is distinctive. Here's a comparison from Youtube of the stock and the hogslayers. You can hear a difference.

Fly Screen and exhaust looks great. I bet the screen makes a difference.
Will test that out today. Looking to get the air pressure off my chest at highway speeds. Made a huge difference on my Bobber, I'm hoping for the same results here.

Also got the cat covers in black ordered from Eurosport to replace the chrome units and they should be here next week along with the bar levers.

Just a quick followup, the Madstad works a treat. Took it on the highway and no wind pressure on the chest and no helmet buffeting. Spent about an hour and a half doing various roads and the Madstad is a keeper.

Yes, that is a healthier sound.
