well i decided to go and see if i could find that pic for the old and new , well it didn't happen !
instead i got more than i bargined for !!!!!
i got right up in the mountains ubove dufftown (yes i live by the town that makes homer's beer ! ) actualy it makes glenfiddich whisky !
anyway i rode strait in to a snow blizzerd , take a look !!!!




and then the old fart him self !!!!

That's something that I've never experienced personally.

ye it is ice ! the other problem in that type of weather is it blocks the vents up in your helmet , and it dosen't matter how good your lid is wether it was £80 or £400 it will mist up.
even if you have ant mist treatment on it like i do , that was the reason i had to pull over i just couldn't see .

Never thought about that issue, glad I don't have to deal with it at all

I'm going to save that photo and when this coming winter I wake up to +10c and it gets up to +12c after breakfast and think it's too cold to ride I'll check it out and be brave.

you have to have skin like leather to ride in scotland even in the summer
