Well I have spent a bit of time looking through the gallery. Well done to you all, you guys have a great selection in your gallery. Always love looking at photo's from other owners.

Overall this forum seems to be very well set out but it does seem rather quiet for the most part. I see no new topics or replies since I logged in this morning  Is it always like this or is this just a quiet period for some reason

As The Seeker said, It's the depth of winter for many of us so no riding or much going on, but it has been quieter than normal recently.
From time to time there's quite a bit of socializing rather than just bike talk. When you ride new bikes like Triumph there really isn't all that much to talk about. They're stone axe reliable so there aren't many problems to discuss or seek solutions for. Unlike classic bikes they don't need much in the way of work to get ready for the next season. I just wash and polish my Bonneville and park it for nearly six months.
I won't be back in the saddle until about mid to late April unless we have an unusually warm spring. In the meantime, there is next to nothing going on in my biking life.

That said.....

There are quite a few here that know each other pretty well and have talked ourselves out at least until something new happens. When a new topic of interest does happen, we discuss it at length.

There are so many new member joining all the time, but they don't typically start a bike topic unless they are looking for a specific answer to a problem. 99.9% of the time it's answered and then they aren't heard from again.

One thing about TriumphTalk is that it's always friendly and homey for those who choose to hang-out.

Well, as moderator of the "Classic" section, I haven't been carrying my weight (all 135 pounds of it); main reason is because I'm knee-deep in Nortons right now. I'm doing a '67 N15 restoration, a client resto/mod on a '75 Mark III (to a monoshocker with modern inverted forks), and a start-from-scratch custom monoshock 850 (my second).

Add to that the fact that there just aren't that many old bike lovers on here as a percentage of the forum population.
