Turn the fuel petcock on my 2007 carb Scrambler and noticed leaks coming from both carbs. Pulled them off and found the fuel distribution manifold tube leaking on both ends. None of the carb diagrams available to me show any parts and seals for this but I assume it's just o-rings. The tube has slight end play and is free to rotate. All my research says to never pull the carbs apart but that's the only way I'm going to get to the problem. Any experience out there accessing this part would be helpful.

Thanks for any comments - Rod

Thanks gumpt1oo. Looks like the right call on the schematic. So far no problems getting down to the part. Hopefully it will go back together as easily. Triumph dealer here wanted to replace both carbs. That's why I don't take my bikes to dealers who specialize in replacing rather than repair.

Follow up on this post: The o-rings shown on the schematic are for the vent-T not the Fuel Swivel T. I need to replace the vent rings anyway since I disassembled the joined carbs and don't want to re-use cheap o-rings. So, it's off to the auto parts store to find suitable rings for the fuel T. I have measured the ring seats so just need to match for an interference fit in the carb bodies. In the meantime, I will be headed out to California wine country so won't have the Triumph back together for week.

Final follow up: All back together and it fired up no problem. A little adjusting to both carbs and it is running smoothly.

As a side note, I have read one thread here about removing the carb heaters to make adjusting the air screws ready available. Yes, you can remove them and plug off the holes with a m8x1.25 plug and removing the wires for neatness. I did not remove them but simply loosened the heaters and then rotated the flat tab ground connector out of the way and re-tightened the heater. Now the air screw is clear to easily adjust. The ground tab is just a washer for the heater. I'll try to attach a photo here that shows both carbs with the wires still not attached. You can see the airscrew pockets are in the open.CarbHeater1.jpg

Hello, do you have size for o-rings from auto store parts.
