Take your calipers off and remove the brake pads, the smear a light coating of copper grease / slip, to the rear of the pads and reinstall.
Take note of how it all comes off and replace accordingly.

In a nutshell no, it could be a build up of dust, I doubt that your brakes need servicing just yet as it's almost a new bike. I also forgot to say that you may not need to take the pads out. When you remove the calipers you'll find that you might have enough movement of the pads to smear some copper grease on the back of them without removing the pads completely, which I think will be the case.
If you were to get abnormal wear on your pads, by this I mean, you need new pads after 4000 miles then your either braking like mad, or you have a problem with your brakes binding.

I have brake moan at low speed when braking (2016 T120 @ 1300 kms). I spoke to the Service Guys and I am a light braker so he suggested I do some firm stops and it should disappear? Comments?

I was able to fix my low-speed brake squeal issue very simply.

After a few hundred miles on the T120, my front brake squealed badly. I used anti-squeal grease, which seemed to help for a bit, but the problem returned. The *third* time I did this, I used sandpaper on the pad face and chamfered the edges of the brake pads (old Volvo trick) and the brake squeal soon returned.

I decided to approach this from a different angle. Maybe my technique was at fault. My previous 2 bikes were BMW’s with linked brakes and I developed the bad habit of never using the rear brake pedal except in an emergency situation.

Once I started using the rear brake petal in conjunction with the front brakes, the problem completely disappeared. I have >1,500 miles since the last squeal.

Try changing your technique, it worked for me
