Fresh Water Kayaking

Mabel and I spent yesterday with my youngest daughter, Christy, her husband, Tony, and my two lovely grandchildren. Christy and family live in Denver and she is her for her 20th high school reunion in St Augustine. We spent the day kayaking on chain of Lakes in Winter Park. Mabel and I have four kayaks plus a tandem kayak. Christy and Tony are into paddle boarding and they brought their paddle boards. The kids used our beginners kayaks. We had a grand time and the kids enjoyed swimming in the clean, clear lake waters.

Another canal connecting Lake Osceola with Lake Maitland. This canal was dug in the late 1860's.

Thanks Rocky and Dave. We had a great time and it is a really lovely setting. All the homes on those lakes are owned by the VERY wealthy.
