Fouriesburg Country Inn - AMAZING!!

We had a fantastic weekend at the Country Inn YET AGAIN, great company food etc etc. But this is a HUGE thank you to the people that own and run the place for being amazing.

I left my (not inexpensive) camera on the back of my chair during dinner and completely forgot about it. Last night I was about to download my pics but the camera was nowhere to be found. A phone call to the Inn this morning confirmed that is indeed sitting at reception waiting for me to call and claim it.

For you guys in other countries this may not seem that incredible, but believe me in SA that is akin to parting the seas

We had the same experience at a hotel in Mombassa, Kenya. Our young man left his camera on a couch in reception and when we returned from the excursion, the camera was in the safe waiting for us.

The Fouriesburg Country Inn is a very special place - we stay there every year for the RAT run. Their hospitality is absolutely fantastic! :y115:

Yup! Life's tough. We were going to go this weekend, but family stuff has butted in, then next weekend, Farside's in London on to Belgrade, so I guess we'll have to force ourselves to go down at the end of the month! :y114:
