FORK STEERING STEM NUT TORQUE SPEC......

Hello, all: Just wondering what the spec is for tightening the steering stem nut. The bike is a 2012 T100 Bonnneville.

Hi Jim, I only have a manual that covers the T100 up until 2005.
The torque spec for an 2005 model is 65Nm.
Hope this helps.

Thanks, Steve: I've gotten 90nm and 29 ft/lbs from the dealer and another source; I know the setting was 65nm for my '02 Trophy and I think if it was good enough for a bike that big, it's got to be good enough for the T100.

Well, the damper's on and 50 ft/lb certainly seems to be enought, gauging by the force it took to remove it. Now to see how it works.

Works great!! Pretty much like the one on my '70. Just a bit of tightness is the way I like it.
