That was a COOL video but that guy sure could run once he got on his feet.

Something that did strike me was the way the cop was giving his position all the time. I would have thought they would have some type of GPS tracking that would relay their position in real time

I was praying all the time that the officer didn't get T-boned by cager who didn't see him.
We never used to have police chases like that here, but I've noticed over the past few years they are starting to happen more often.
Just this week a drunk driver ran from police and hit 202 kph (126 mph) at the peak of the chase. He eventually crashed the car, but wasn't hurt badly.

Should have been on a Triumph, would have stopped him in no time. :y2:
Carl was you riding pillion to get this video :y23:
Noticed that the Motorcycle Cops don't wear a lot of protection should they come off, and lets face it that copper was going at some speed. It never cease'e to amaze me that people still try to out run the Police, yes there are a few that pull it off, but the officer looked like he got plenty of back up when he needed it.
Great video, and the right outcome for the good guy's.

Back in the late 60's I was involved in a few of those chases. BLUSH
The difference was, only running from a speeding ticket and the police knew who we were (small town). The game was if you got away you were free. If they caught you they'd give you a big ticket. You'd run into the cop on the street the next day and they'd give you a wink and you knew they loved the sport.

That was about the same where I grew up. Not like that now, though.

It's all changed for sure.
A few years later two of my best mates became M/C cops in my town. When we went riding together I'd complain that we were riding too fast and they'd say don't worry as long as you stick with us you'll be asbestos (meaning you can't burn ie get booked).
These days cops book other cops for fear of being called corrupt.
