Hi all,
took delivery of my brand new 2022 Speed Twin 1200 about a month ago. Colour is Hopper Red. I have the following accessories fitted/on order/awaiting fitment:
Triumph Tank Bag ; Triumph Radiator Guard ; Triumph Heated Hand Grips ; Triumph Engine Protection ; Triumph Bobbins ; Givi Rear Rack ; SW Motech Blaze Saddlebags ; Tail Tidy ; Dart Marlin Screen ; Gidibii Chain Oiler ; Instrument Screen Protectors.
Reason I bought a Triumph is that glorious 1200 cc motor. It has character that all the other bikes I rode before buying just didn't have. Love V Twins and like twin cylinders over the Japanese 4 cylinders but the big Triumph tiwn motor brings back similar feelings of when I owned 1984 Ducati S2 900. Reason I bought the Speed Twin is while I originally started looking at Adventure Bikes as used to have a 1994 BMW (Barvarian Money Waster) R1100 GS, I love my corners and realised the Speed Twin was a better fit for me than the 1200 Scrambler XC. But it was a hard decision between the two Triumphs. No other bikes came close to giving me the big grin.

About me:
Been riding motorcycles for over 41 years. Mainly road bikes but have had a couple of trail/dirt bikes in my early years. Bikes I've owned include:
Honda CB200, Suzuki GSX250, Yamah XT250, Honda XR250, Honda 1000 Goldwing, Suzuki GSX750, Suzuki GSX1135EFE, Ducati S2 900, BMW R100CS, Yamaha XT550 with Sidecar, Yamaha XS1100 with sidecar, Honda Transalp 600, BMW R1100GS. Still have an Aprilia RST1000 Futura sitting in shed.
Live on the South Coast of New South Wales (NSW) Australia. While haven't done much riding over past few years for different reasons looking at getting back into going to Motorcycle Rallies, touring this great land of Oz and shorter weekend trips on my new Speed Twin.

Cheers.

Nice intro.
Hope you enjoy your new Speed Twin.
Sounds like you'll have it kitted out nicely.
