Hello All: Just bought a 2013 Bonneville T100. The chain is sloppy with no more adjustment room and I want to replace it with a Triumph OEM chain and sprocket kit.

The manual lists the final drive ratio as 2.39:1 (18/43).

The kit, p/n T2017230 has a 104 link chain and a 43 tooth rear sprocket, which match the manual, BUT has an 18 tooth front sprocket. This would result in a final drive ratio of 2.53:1 (17/43). About a 6% difference.

Do I care? I've been riding off and on for 50 years, and this is my first "big street" bike. Not anticipating doing a lot of highway riding.

Thanks in advance,

Ben
