Thanks for reply. I mean a kit that actually removes rear mudguard and blanks off hole left when you do. I know you can get them for the street twin but can't find anything for the speed. If by "Fender eliminator" you mean "tail tidy" ...I went with Tec Parts. There's several other available from other manufacturers but they're all more or less the same. It's like comparing apples to apples. Tec makes about the cheapest, most straightforward one.
I did end up paying a bit extra to marry a license plate holder and cutting off the built in one that didn’t work on the tidy kit. LoL. You might not even need to pay extra at all, perhaps it’ll take just cutting stuff to allow it to fit or perhaps just drilling extra holes or larger holes. What does the back frame area under your seat look like? Can you take pictures with some dimensions?Like the idea if only it wasn't an option that may not work but will cost a lot.
I thought the same. Apparently not though. The street twin part is probably going to fit.

What changed? This was a very recent change from what I thought. Ask a vendor like Motone if you have not already. It would seem odd that they would change the frame in that area for two motorcycles that should be based on a similar configuration. I’m guessing it’s close enough to modify at any rate. If a third party makes a fender that is the same on both then an eliminator kit should work on both.I thought the same. Apparently not though.
I've spoken with motone and others. They aren't compatible. Without seeing why it's hard to judge how or if it could be modified. What changed? This was a very recent change from what I thought. Next time you take your seat off, take pictures of the frame under and looking at different angles how the fender is attached. Just about anything can be modified, it’s just is it worth it.I've spoken with motone and others. They aren't compatible. Without seeing why it's hard to judge how or if it could be modified.
Excellent idea.Thinking a may have a road trip to motone Newport and see if I can persuade them to let me see how the street twin version fits.
