It seems my low fuel light is not working. I had the tank off and drained it so it was nearly empty when I turned the key on. The light came on for the test which is normal and then went out. (Should have stayed on I would think). I noticed with the tank off you can remove the bottom part held on by a million screws. Would it be a good idea to have a look in there and see if there is anything I can fix. Is it a simple float system? There is an electrical connector with 4 wires to the tank so I presume 2 for the pump and the other 2 for a float switch. My manual does not cover EFI so the circuit is not much help. Do the carby bonnies have a low fuel light? Any help appreciated. This is no big deal really as I always rely on the odometer but I like things to work as they should.

Well my one does not have a fuel indicator at all so I always just ride on my trip meter and distance. Then again when I did have a fuel indicator I did the same as I never did think they worked that great on bikes anyway. How it is put together on your bike I also have no idea
