I got my order in last week for Triumph fat bars and risers.
I was doing a service at the time, not a scheduled one, but a 15000 km's oil plus filters.
Hence the surgical gloves over the intakes.
Swapping out the standard bars is pretty quick and easy...
I had a tie-down from the rafters keeping the master cylinder up high.
New bars and risers fitted, plus some grips I got free with a magazine. I'm in two minds with these - they're nice 'n thin and give good feed back, but I think I would prefer black ones.
The fat bars are a little wider than stock perhaps an inch or so. I tried them out on Sunday and thought I might chop them. After I got home however I find them okay. You get a little more leverage on the bars and turning is easier.
Very impressed with the quality and finish.
The only niggle I had was the new risers are a size 15 socket and torque wrenching them was a little tight - you really need a 3/8" drive size wrench set. Very little space. I borrowed me dads and got it done right.
