This would be a find that I would enjoy as I used to collect these trains as a child and always wanted to have another collection one day.

A collector’s dream: That's what some are calling a secret warehouse in Sacramento.

A toy store owner has passed away and his family discovered his hidden collection of model trains. The storage facility is the size of a basketball court and its packed with rare, unopened vintage toy trains.

"We knew he had a warehouse, we just didn't know how big the collection was until we opened it up," said Karen Gibson-Noriega. Her father is Tom Gibson and he owned Teddies and Trains in downtown Sacramento. The store closed in the 1990's and few family members had seen his inventory.

Very cool TUP TUP
When my son was young he was given a train set for Christmas.
I offered to turn an attic room into a train diorama/layout with villages, tunnels, etc., but he wasn't interested and barely played with the trains.
I've always been a hobbyist of one sort or another and would have been in my glory, but it was not to be so I turned back to making model cars and planes.

Amazing
My great uncle had a huge set up that took up his entire basement---trains running through tunnels all around the walls and floor---suspended tracks from the ceiling. He was the Repair Man for Lionel Trains for many years, and in retirement he still had folks sending him trains to repair at his home workshop. I miss ol Uncle Ed. What a character! Looked like Mario (from the Video goes) little Italian guy with a huge mustache and booming voice and ALWAYS laughing and smiling --- sad we often do not appreciate those we love till they are gone.
