I had forgotten about the fall since you have been so active with the mods.
Heal fast and well TUP
I have limited use, but as long as I can raise the arm or position it using the other arm I have full use of my hand. I just can’t fully lift the injured arm without help. Apparently a classic injury. Working on mods doesn’t require a lot of strength or lifting at this point. Thanks, I hope it does heal fast. It’s better than it was, but not there yet. The pain is most apparent at night, which is also typical.

Having a beautiful bike like you have and the ability to do some work on it are great motivators for rehab and recovery. Prayers for a speedy and full recovery buddy!!!

Nothing else to do so I test fit the fairing and plastic screen. I need to figure a gasket for the plastic, I want to avoid unnecessary scratches.

I also loosened the reservoir. Put tape between the plastic and aluminum for now. Also did not fully torque bolt and nuts on screen.

Now this is a messy garage. It’s also a work in progress. LoL.

That is indeed a great fairing. Bit retro, nice shape.

Have you had an MRI before? I had one yesterday. My kickstart knee has developed a fault. Being a knee, luckily my head was sticking out of the scanner. I say luckily because it's bleedin' scarily loud. And I was worried all the metal work inside me was going to get red-hot.

Ps. Don't do what I've done. Chipped my tank paintwork.

I’ve had an MRI for my spinal stenosis years ago. I’m going tomorrow for my MRI on my shoulder rotator cuff before starting therapy on the second. I’ve been trying to be careful and cover the tank when I’m working around it. It would be a major annoyance to chip it. Although I’m not sure if it has ever been painted before, but I’m happy with it as is. So, I’ll cover as best as I can.

The reservoir is a direct fit attachment so it does away with the bracket and the small section of hose. Simpler
I got something similar for my project bike. I swapped the hose, and made a different bracket (just twisted a piece of metal) so the reservoir is upright when parked.

It's not in place. Hose will be much shorter, bracket coming off near caliper.

I like the seeing of the fluid in the hose

Installed the new brake reservoir. Pretty easy job.

With reservoir in place. Definitely lower.

The cabling is a bit tight in that area. Wish they had routed them differently, like under on some models. Not sure why the Thruxton needed them to be above over instead of underneath.
