I'm thinking of eventually getting a dual disc brake setup for my 2013 Triumph Scrambler for the style and performance. I had this done for my Indian by having a shop swap in dual disc fork lowers from a Harley. I'm a bit unfamiliar with my options on a Triumph though. Someone had suggested I get a pair of Thruxton or Speedmaster forks with the dual brake setup and use a Tiger 955i spoke wheel for this conversion. Would anyone here have any experience or idea if something like this would work? I know the Thruxton wheels were only 18" so I'm not sure how putting a 19" 955i Tiger wheel would effect the brakes, triple tree and fender setup.
