My missus bought me the Drift Innovations HD170 action cam for my birthday.
Okay so it's not my birthday yet, but I've been playing with it, you know, just to make sure it's all working okay.![Y2 :y2: :y2:](/data/ttsmilies/Small/y2.gif)
The camera is HD, 720 and 1080, although it can do lower resolutions.
It features a 300 degree rotating lens so that mounting it is not critical in lining it all up.
s
It can handle a 32 gig HDSD card, which should give around 2 hours video time.
The microphone has 4 settings including off. Middle setting is plenty loud enough on the bike.
It is dust and water resistant.
Records in .mov format.
If you use 720 HD and below you have a zoom feature, and it can capture at 60 frames per second. This should be much better than the normal 24 if you need to do some slow motion video editing.
It comes with quite a few mounting options:
Handlebar
Helmet
Goggle
and some misc strap I've yet to work out.
You also get some some double sided neoprene tape, and velcro pads, so you can choose which one to use.
It also has a remote control with a wrist strap, which is handy coz you don't want to tape the parking lot if you've got it mounted to the front axle.![Y2 :y2: :y2:](/data/ttsmilies/Small/y2.gif)

My wife purchased it at Full Throttle, retail price was R4k, she got it for R2600.00
