I'm thinking about ordering this fender from Moto Trio. I'd like some opinions on the spoiler. Does it look dumb? Of course, I'd be painting it Diablo Red. My concern is that the spoiler would look out of place on a classic bike like this. Any and all opinions will be considered. Thanks, guys.

To each his own of course, and I wouldn't go so far as to call it dumb, but I really don't see the point of it.
But I'm not there, and don't know what you have in mind, so I'll just say, it's your bike so do as you please.

As said I guess you won't know till you try it,however get caught in the rain or pick up some gravel and not a lot of protection for front of the engine.
To be honest I normally buy a fender extender to protect the front but to each their own.
Good luck and looking forward to the pics.

Rain? What's that? I live in Southern California. Our bikes don't even get dirty.

Here in SoCal, you quickly learn that Mr Sun is not your friend. He does nasty things to paint and rubber bits. Not to mention increased risk of skin cancer.

I too have a "Fenda Extenda" on both of my Honda's. The factory fenders are much too short these days.
All the other bikes have a proper fender (mud guard) for protection.
Not meaning to hijack this thread, but this is one in place.

Yup, fashion. Personally, I like short fenders. But that's just me.
There's nothing wrong with that. Life is about making choices that suit you and what makes you happy.
It would be a pretty dull world if we all liked the same thing.
I use my bikes for touring and possibly in all kinds of weather so I need a front fender that offers more protection for the radiator/oil cooler and/or exhaust pipes.

I understand. My bike is my only means of transportation. But I live in SoCal where it almost never rains, and our roads are clean. Funny, I mention rain and it's raining today. The bike is all nice and warm in the garage.

So I went a different route entirely. I decided that I just couldn't live with that dumbass spoiler on the Moto Trio fender. I ordered an aluminum front fender from Rizoma. Very sleek. It comes with its own brackets thus eliminating the stock ones, which in my opinion , are one of the ugliest pieces on the bike. Here'a a pic of the Rizoma fender. Of course, I'll be painting it Diablo Red, as well as painting the brackets (which come black). The fender in the picture was cropped in the rear by about 2 1/2 inches. And yes, I'll be doing that to mine.ZTH058front-m_m_y-Triumph-Thruxton-R-1200-2016 (1).jpg
