I'm about to pull the trigger ... or walk away from a deal on this.

It's a new (2015) T100 Black. As much as I personally love my Street Triple R, I've been riding less this year and have developed an ominous feeling that I'm too old to ride a fast bike. At first I was going only keep my 1969 Tiger 650 but one of these (as well as the 69) ridden like an oldie and being totally reliable may be the way to go.
In the morning I'm planning on taking the Street Triple R for a run and then deciding if it was it's last outing with me or if my confidence has returned and she's a keeper.

That is a nice bike. Hard decision. Or you could go with one of those shiny new Thunderbird LTs I spied in the background and have power and older guy type comfort. ;)

Funny you say that kev cos when I do get back into it again,it'll be a bird or a striple,a few rides on the day will tell.
I seriously looked at a T100 just before I sold my america, but I couldnt get used to how tiny it felt, and even tho they do everything they should, apart fom standing back and looking at them, they just dont grab me by the goolies.

I've ridden a few foot forward bikes but think ... no just not me.

To elaborate a little on my "ominous feeling that I'm too old to ride a fast bike".
It's not self doubt about skill or physical condition, it's that when I see a few corners I usually ride the bike (shall we say) in a spirited way. Of late I keep getting the little man in my head saying my luck is running out and it's time to walk away from riding. I'm not getting the feeling about sedate riding as I do on my classic bike so the T100 may be the answer.
Anyway it's 8.45 am, about to have breakfast and will take a short run on the Street Triple to see how I feel. Watch this space. :(

I meant more laid back riding style, which is normally associated with "older" riders. The LT can get up and dance(for a cruiser) if you want it to.
Whatever you decide, at least you still wanna ride, that's what's important.

I agree 100%

Yesterday (Saturday) afternoon I headed out, only went 10 km and stopped in at a friends house intending on him riding with me, ... um ... had a beer with him then 4 more. Locked the bike in his garage and called a taxi (read wife) to come get me. I will walk (burning off kilojoules from yesterdays beer) to his place today, pick up the bike and continue the ride. The vibe I got from yesterday's short run is I still love my Street Triple, watch this space.

Follow on ... just had a ride on a perfect spring day, you couldn't want it any better for riding.
Remembering that I've been off for a couple of months and making adjustments for that, I was reeeeal happy.
Arrived home and imagined a new T100 Black sitting next to my Street Triple R with the $5,800 change over price sitting on the seat, which bike do I pick ??? Hmmmm, not a real hard decision. My existing bike stays for now.
When out I pulled in to a car yard to look at a new S Type Jag and took this shot before riding away. :)

And the Jag, nice!

Well, Ive not owned either but I feel the striple would have a lot more grins per k than a T100.
Where the T100 would win out would be for passenger comfort, but you still have your classic for that.
And yes,I love that cat as well.
