My 1991 trophy 1200 is having a 12000 service done at my local Triumph dealers, any way he phones to tell me the HT leads need replacement and asks if i know any thing about the engine, No I reply, he then informs me that my trophy has got a Daytona Head etc and Barrels !

Now I wonder, why is this and what advantages would it give me if any ?

No idea have I, so what does my fellow Trophy riders think answers on a postcard or on the forum

over to you

It means that a previous owner souped-up your Trophy's engine for higher performance. Quite a bit of money invested to gain a few horses.

HT leads normally suffer along with the coils from the heat underneath the shroud.
