And my name is not PINTE, that's just German slang for a pub. Yay to pubs. My name is Roger and I live in Edmonton, Alberta. It has been freaking cold here. I hope that I can spend a lot more time here at triumphtalk. I have a 2003 Bonneville T100 that I need to get back on the road. Poor bike has been locked up in a shed for the past two years. Just have no time to ride due to getting slammed at work. We have now hired some new slaves and my work load has decreased. I also have a lot of work to do on the T100 and I hope to post a bunch of pics on my efforts. Carbs, valve shims, suspension and exhaust are things I need to work on. If I can get my hands on a good set of Honda forks, I might also do a conversion on the poor front forks. Looking forward to the banter.

Hello and welcome to TT from the east coast BBEER
I too fitted progressive fork springs which improved the suspension a lot.
I would try that first before swapping out the entire forks. It's easy to do and the forks aren't that expensive if they don't do the trick for you.

Welcome to TT from the East.
Great bunch here, so join in the madness.
Hope you have a good place to work on your bike. Edmonton winters are brutal sometimes.
Been pretty mild in the East lately, but Ol' Man Winter ain't done with us yet.

Thanks everyone! I do know about the progressive spring choices out there. It is the easy way out. If I do go with progressive springs, I will most likely choose the Hagon offering. Link that with a Motone fork clamp. As for the rears, it really is time to toss the factory junk shocks and again, I will opt for the Hagons on the rear as well.

@Qship, a good place to work on the bike.... LOL. No, I don't have a good place to work on the bike. When we bought the house, it didn't come with a garage. Any house we looked at with a half decent garage usually meant the house itself didn't suit us, or, the house itself was crap. ( I ), we opted to make my wife happy and get a good, solid house. I can make do in the shed that we have in the back yard.
