My youngest son's collection has grown (my bank account shrunk) and he showed me what he wants next.

He was playing Sweet Child of Mine on it, sounds a bit different but good on the acoustic. Now he's working on Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here.

I've got one of those at my place.........guitar player / collector that is. Up until recently I too suffered from a bank account diluted by guitars.

Now that he is 18, HIS new purchase that HE paid for set him back $3,500. :y2:

Your sons new acoustic looks really nice. Enjoy the music.....you have earnt it TUP

Sons and guitars, all too familiar to me also.
My boy, now 36 has a few and has his mothers 12 string on permanent loan so I got my wife a new 12 string and didn't tell him.:y2:
Her new one is an Australian made "Maton", sounds sweet.

Sweet looking 12 string. I looked at one today but don't remember who made it but it was hanging on the wall in the same area as the Ovations. I did step into the room with the Gibson's and Martins but didn't stay there love, some of them were priced higher than what I paid for my Tiger.

Being from Pennsylvania, I've always been a bit partial to Martin acoustics. But that's one nice looking guitar.......does it have pick ups inside....it looks like controls on the side???

I like the Martin's too but the price tags on them around here is a little more than I was going to pay for one he will be taking to school with him. The cheapest Martin I found here was $899.

Good eye AJ, it is an Ibanez acoustic electric in African Zebrawood.
