I knew there was a reason I wanted a 2005 Thruxton with carburetors. LoL. Sometimes the KISS principle works best.
I could not agree more. All my bikes have Carbs. KISS is best on motorcycles IMHO.
Also, Always use Ethanol free gas if possible. Don't let bikes sit with Ethanol fuel in the Carbs.
Better to run them out of gas after turning the petcock off if you aren't going to ride.

True. It's a bit pricier at the moment, but better than a yearly rebuild.
