I stayed at a couple of campgrounds over the 4th of July weekend that are worth a visit if you're in the area.
Switchback Creek campground in Shady Valley, Tennessee. It's a small, quiet place just a couple of miles from "The Snake" hwy 421. :y115:
The Iron Horse Motorcycle Lodge just outside of Robbinsville, NC off hwy 28 is an awesome facility. Absolutely first class all the way, and smack dab in the middle of some of the best twisties that America has to offer.
