Well it is that time of the year when we start seeing our bush fires starting up. We see a lot of this around my area and this part of the coastline. A year back we really had it bad with a few communities just down the coast almost being complete burned out.

We now have a huge fire raging in an area down the coat from me. In this morning news update 7 people have now died in this one.

This is an older news broadcast

I often complain about our weather and the often times we get a lot of rain, but at least we don't have to face bush fires.
This past summer was quite dry compared to most summers, but we didn't have any forest fires.
We really don't have "bush" per se around here, it's mainly dense and deep forests.

Funny I was just thinking about how we all get used to what we got. Like I cannot get my head around how you guys do it in the winter you cannot get your head around how we do it in summer.

Then closer to home the people that live inland from us cannot get their heads around how we put up with the wind as we do.

It was just on the news now that they have closed all the coastal roads along this coastline. This is our main connection between our two provences and a main road for goods transport.

Around here we don't have any of those type of problems, if we have any bad wind, it is hurricane or tornado time, from time to time we have a little drought that may cause some damage from fires, kind of good around here i guess.
