His music was always playing in our house when I grew up so I came to really like it as well.

Unfortunately, my Dad played the saxophone and was into the big band era music (music of his generation). That's what he played on our phonograph most of the time. He wasn't much of a fan of rock-n-roll although he did like the Beatles somewhat. But he did like horns so when Herb Albert and the Tijuana Brass came out he loved them. It drove me crazy!

I heard it more from my brothers being so much older than I was and I suppose this is why I relate to Rock and Rolls so well. I like this one of his as well

I have to give my Dad credit.....when the Beatles made first appearances on the Ed Sullivan Show here in New York City, my Dad recorded the audio with his old reel-to-reel tape recorder. We still have those recordings!

My car doesn't have the satellite radio built into it. It was an option. but I thought it was too expensive.
I have a Sirius car/boom box setup. I had an electronics shop wire the car with the wiring and antennae that came with the kit. The control portion of the radio will now work in the car and inside on the boom box as I choose.
If I don't happen to have the sat radio with me, we do have one radio station that plays a variety of music including some oldies R & R so I listen to that.
