British & European Rallye - TX in May

It's time once again for the British Motorcycle Owner's Association of Houston to host thier annual British & European Rally at the Volunteer Firemen's Park in New Ulm, Texas!

May 18th - 20th (the weekend AFTER Mother's Day)

New Ulm is just north of Columbus, TX, off I-10, west of Houston.

$40 Single Weekend pass with camping
$60 Couple Weekend pass with camping
$20 Saturday only (includes dinner, no camping)

Swap Meet (maybe a vendor or two also)

Field events (bike games)

Bike Show (all brands, w/ "Best Of Show" trophy) - EVERYONE VOTES!

BBQ Dinner saturday night

Hot showers

Mapped area rides

Free coffee, iced tea, lemonade & ice water all weekend long

Door prizes & raffle drawings Saturday & Sunday

Venue is less than 5 minutes from gas, convenience stores & restaurants

As usual, I'll have extra camping gear if you want to ride out unloaded (e-mail/PM me and let me know if you'll need it).

I plan to be over there for at least one day.

A little extra info on the area. . .
Just up the road is LaGrange which you may know of from a ZZ Top song about a little house in LaGrange. Or maybe it was due to Dolly Parton and the movie Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.

Just to the west is what is referred to as the Painted Churches which are popular ride locations.

This is ranching country and there are several large operations in the area.
